Chapel Hill Mall, on Brittain Rd. in Akron, Ohio was once a thriving mall in a well developed commercial area, but with the recent retail revolution and so many store chains closing forever, it has taken a toll on the businesses that try to keep this mall alive. Of the 3 major anchors, only JCPenny’s remains. Sears and Macy’s have been closed for awhile with nothing to replace them. The carousel inside the Food Court still operates, but never see anyone riding it.
