Toledo Pride Parade Kicks Off In Downtown Toledo!

Toledo, Ohio (Jaden Reports/Eyewitness News)— Many came out to Toledo’s Pride Parade on Adams street in downtown Toledo.

The parade stepped off at noon and continued through adams street in downtown Toledo.

Many different local businesses came out to support the LGBTQ+ community. Today’s event was filled with dogs including one local project the Lucas County Pit Crew whom brought some pups to today’s parade!

During the parade candy was passed around as well as necklaces and more. Huntington Bank and Owens Corning were among the corporate supporters.

Councilman Nick Komives attended today’s event as well. Komives also works with Equality Toledo which is a local organization dedicated to serving our community and the people of the LGBTQ+ community.

According to ToledoPride.com the event is described as:

“a large-scale, outdoor event showcasing the best in local and national entertainment. The festival also boasts a parade, food and merchandise vendors, and networking with numerous community organizations including social groups, churches, and health and wellness groups.
Toledo Pride has always been a family-friendly event and is excited to welcome a greater number of families and younger audience members to the parade.”
