A woman from the Hudson Valley claims an unwanted item was placed in nachos she ordered at the Fishkill Taco Bell. At first, Eve Saint thought a “doorknob” was found in her nachos but later said she learned it was the pump for the nacho cheese dispenser. Saint tells Hudson Valley Post, when she called to complain she was told it was impossible and was hung up on. After many calls she says she finally received an apology and was offered free nachos. Taco Bell says they are investigating.

A Hudson Valley business that will feature food from local chefs and cocktails from local spirits is almost ready to open. This past weekend, the Hudson Valley Food Hall & Market in Beacon held what’s described as a “very, very soft opening.” A spokesperson says a grand opening will be set once their bar vendor and seafood vendor get their liquor license and some equipment.
The Food Network filmed in the Hudson Valley. Restaurant Impossible kicked off its sixth season by visiting Joe Willy’s Seafood House, which at the time was located in Fishkill near Splashdown. Since then, the seafood eatery moved further up on Route 9, across from Kohls in Wappinger Falls. To follow up on the move, Restaurant Impossible came to film Monday during what’s described as a special dinner service.
