Hey everybody, this is disability Attorney Michael Liner, I am here for a very, very, VERY special edition of the most delicious video series ever shot by a lawyer, “Go Nuts for Donuts with Michael Liner.” I have a special guest here today. [Andrew]: I am honored to be here. This is disability attorney Andrew November, who has jealously watched these videos, but if I was gonna join for any video, I think I chose for the right video. [Michael]: So today, we are in New Orleans, Louisiana, we are in New Orleans because we came down to present at a conference, the NOSSCR conference, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives. We’ve spoken at NOSSCR conferences for several years, which, let’s show off our shirts Andrew, come on! These are Snellen eye charts that list all of the streets in New Orleans. Yesterday we actually spoke on the vision limitations in disability cases, but in any event, this is a very special episode of Go Nuts for Donuts because New Orleans happens to be home to one of the most, if not the most, famous donut restaurants in America, Café Du Monde,
where we are shooting from right now. I’m so excited to take a bite, they just brought to the table a plate of delicious beignets, which must be French for delicious fried donut ball with sugar on top of it. I don’t even know what I’m staring at, I just know that it must be good. But, you know, the beignet is, you know, this Café Du Monde has been here forever and I couldn’t be more excited to to take a bite of one of these beignets. Definitely something that, unless you make it at home, you’re not gonna find walking into any restaurant here in Cleveland. (Andrew): Look at that powder! Can I ask you a question before you eat? Have you ever been as excited as you are about now for any of the donuts? Cause, like, this is something else! (Michael): This is not, this is not the Entenmann’s donut, this is something special. (Andrew): This is like an inch of powder, I hope this comes off in the video. We gotta go at it, I’m gonna go crazy! (Michael): So, together, Andrew and I are going to sample the Café Du Monde beignet down in New Orleans, Louisiana. Shall we, Andrew? Let’s go! (Both): Cheers! (Andrew): Wow there is so much to that donut! (Michael):When you take a look inside the donut, you know, you’d almost think that it was a hollow interior, but it’s not, it’s actually filled with the dough. It’s really thick but it’s so soft, it’s almost like a fried croissant or something, but the sugar, the powdered sugar they put on, it is so tremendous. I don’t know about you, Andrew, but there’s only one rating that I think is appropriate. (Andrew): What’s that? (Michael): For the beignet at Café Du Monde. Are we in agreement? (Andrew): I mean, this has got to be the best donut I’ve ever had. (Michael): This is definitely a five-star experience at Café Du Monde in New Orleans, Louisiana. I can’t wait to share this with all our beloved fans back in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. This has been an excellent experience down here this week with Andrew and the rest of our colleagues, you know, in the social security world, and, to Doctor Snellen! Cheers!
