Highlights from the 2010 Holiday Tree Festival, a fund raiser for the Akron Children’s Hospital. The 2010 event is the 29th consecutive year. Artists create Christmas trees which are then sold. All proceeds benefit the hospital. To date, .5 million dollars have been raised. The 2010 show has expanded to include 156 large trees, 41 miniature trees and 89 other holiday related items such as wreaths and baskets. The event is held at the John S.
