In this edition of Mr. P. Explores, we head down to Akron, Ohio to look through the sad remains of what was once the Akron Rubber Bowl, the football stadium that served the University of Akron since the early 1940’s. Concerts, football, marching band competitions and so many other special events came through this stadium in its nearly 80 years of existence, and it was a sad and forlorn trip to see what has happened to this stadium since it closed in 2008. Rumor on the street has it that it is slated for demolition this summer, so we thought it best to take a look before the end and show you what is left…
